Life in the 18th District - Southern Africa

elcome to the official website for the 18th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church!

We are happy that you have taken the time to visit with us. The 18th District is comprised of four countries in Southern Africa: Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland and Mozambique. As you click on each waving flag you will be taken on a wonderful journey to each country where you will meet our African brothers and sisters face to face, you will learn about each country's vital statistics, and you will see that the AME Church is alive, well and thriving...in this most wonderful part of the world…Southern Africa.

As you move throughout the site we invite you to pay special attention to "The Work" page and see the many challenges that we are facing in our AME schools, churches and in impoverished hard-to-reach areas that desperately need and want the gospel, healthcare, education and hope. We pray that you will be moved to PARTNER with us in “The Work”. We need your prayers and your financial support will help us to build and renovate churches, schools, and orphanages. Your dollars can help pay tuition for the hundreds of needy, yet deserving young children and teenagers who need a jump start in life.

We are seeking the help of individuals, churches, educational and health care organizations, sororities, fraternities…ALL persons who have a heart for God and a heart for God’s people. We need you to PARTNER with us in making manifest the presence, power, and provisions of God in the earth.

Supervisor Claytie and I are excited about the work and the opportunities for us to “Step up and Step Out for the Kingdom of God” here in the 18th District. Please continue to pray for us and our wonderful 18th District family...for we are indeed "On A Mission To Transform Lives and Change The World!"
